Giving Back & Support

Growing up in a service-oriented family, I learned the importance of helping others from an early age. Whether we were at church organizing bake sales to assist those in need or on the streets offering food and shelter options, service was woven into the fabric of our lives.

The Willie and Elizabeth Gordon Family Foundation

Continuing in their spirit, I remain committed to supporting individuals and organizations dedicated to giving back. My family created The Willie and Elizabeth Gordon Family Foundation (WEGFF) to honor our parents’ legacy. The foundation focuses on uplifting disenfranchised communities through education, empowerment, excellence, and service.

I’ve also had the privilege of spending much of my adult life in California, where I connected with incredible organizations like A Place Called Home Youth Center and CoachArt. More than connections, these became transformative opportunities for me—I served as Executive Director for both organizations during pivotal times of transition, and I’m proud to say we navigated those changes successfully.

She Ready Foundation

More recently, I’ve partnered with the She Ready Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting foster youth. Their mission to inspire, protect, and provide essential resources to those impacted by foster care is nothing short of extraordinary. You can learn more about the She Ready Foundation below

No matter which organization or cause you explore, I encourage you to find a way to support, serve, or give back. It has the power to change lives—including your own.
